Alien Libros & Co. is a cultural creation and production studio based in NYC—CDMX. The book is our favorite format, but not the only one: we also do exhibitions, art objects, multimedia, and other formats as part of a constant experimental search.

It all began in 2021 in New York City, arising from the need to import printed productions made in Mexico by our team and that of other publishers, and later gradually expanding to the rest of the continent. A process that continues to move forward.

We also do the opposite: we bring to Mexico City content from some of our favorite publishers around the world that relate to our interests: counterculture, photography, archive, migration, fashion, music, and public space. We avoid classifying ourselves as a publishing house since we also carry out activities related to culture and the arts for public, private, and independent institutions. We like to experiment with different materials, forms, and devices to express our ideas and those of the people who work with the team.
